A: Acme Body Shop offers curb side estimating service! The process will take about 5 - 10 minutes and we will follow up by emailing you the estimate, or you can stop back by to pick up a hard copy.
A: Scheduling depends on the current work in our shop and the availability of the parts needed for your car. We work to get you in and repairs started as soon as possible. If your car is not drivable, call us and we can help you coordinate getting the car to our shop right away. While repairs will probably not begin immediately, we will start planning your vehicle into our schedule.
A: We can help take care of that headache for you. Let us know if you have rental insurance. Either way, we contact HERTZ to arrange your rental and they are excellent about meeting you here and prompt when you have pre-arranged to drop off your car. The best part is that the paperwork is done right here. There are no extra stops which saves you time and aggravation. It helps simplify the process! We also work with Enterprise and they will come pick you up here and bring you to their office to sign their paperwork. Conveniently, you may return both Hertz and Enterprise rentals to Acme when picking up your vehicle.
A: Our relationship with Hertz and Enterprise will help you get the lowest price available for a rental car.

A: There is a BIG difference between shops. Any shop can give a lower price by leaving something out or by overlooking parts. Acme's reputation is for fair and honest estimates. Our loyal customers can attest to that fact! We have a highly-experienced manager who prepares your estimates with a complete understanding of the work involved and Acme assures you that we will do a proper job at a fair price.

A: You have the right to choose the repair shop of your choice. Period! Maine Law states it is YOUR choice. Some insurance companies may tell you they have a "preferred list" of body shops, but that is because it is more cost effective for them to have you go to their "preferred list".
A: YES! We offer a warranty on our work for as long as you own your car, rust repairs excluded.
